Building our Business - Talented Engineer sought! 

We want to talk to anyone from a precision engineering or aerospace background (CNC, manual, turning, milling or toolmaking) who is a proactive problem-solver, independent thinker, effective leader and someone who enjoys imparting knowledge and motivating colleagues. 

Do you have the talent, ability and determination to: 

• devise fixtures and workholding methods for the manufacture of complex parts
• think of ways to utilise machine tools to their full potential
• drive down cycle times
• improve use of cutting tools and explore alternative methods of manufacture
• deal with customers to troubleshoot complex and technical areas of manufacture
• inspect components and assemblies and have a deep rooted understanding of engineering drawings, machining tolerances
• understand customer specifications and documentation
• use IT effecitvely and to its full potential
• work to and understand the AS9100 system

This is not an operator vacancy, nor an inspection vacancy - it could well be a hybrid role that the successful candidate develops in their own right. We are seeking a good all-rounder, capable of high-level problem-solving, both at an admin and hands-on level. For the right candidate we would be initially interested in discussing a management position, but equally there could be longer-term enhanced opportunities within the business. You will be fully IT literate as well as a competent, enthusiastic engineer. We are looking for someone with ambition and energy and someone who is wholeheartedly willing to look after our customers on a face-to-face basis when required.

Production Admin Support

We are also interested in applications for a candidate interested in working in the field of production admin, which will involve the following responsibilities: 

• Goods inwards of materials & subcontract processes
• Handling of materials
• Basic inspection of incoming goods (possible). 
• Control of batch traceability and stock components 
• Admin support for our despatch area including certification control 
• Interface with customer ensuring they receive correct paperwork at all times
• Interface with customer to provide open order books and proactive and timely communication
• Scanning/filing & management of all production documentation
• Driving license essential

Quality Inspectors wanted

Due to continued growth of the business we are also seeking applications from quality inspectors with manual and CMM inspection experience.
