Bright Engineering is pleased to announce the successful delivery and installation of its new Mazak HCN4000 twin-pallet horizontal machining centre, marking a significant step forward in the company's ongoing investment programme.
The HCN4000 joins an existing machine of the same model, giving Bright increased capacity, flexibility and resilience for the production of medium to high-volume machined components. The twin-pallet design enables continuous machining with reduced downtime, helping to improve throughput and efficiency across a wide range of customer programmes.
This latest investment supports Bright's strategy of remaining highly competitive in the production batch-work sector. By increasing available spindle time, reducing setup interruptions and enhancing scheduling flexibility, the HCN4000 strengthens our ability to deliver cost-effective, high-quality components while maintaining the responsiveness our customers expect.
The machine forms part of Bright's wider investment programme, driven by continued growth in customer demand and a commitment to providing robust manufacturing solutions for customers across aerospace, defence, oil & gas, electronics and other precision engineering sectors.
Commenting on the investment, Bright CEO Jon Hoyle stated:
"The arrival of our second HCN4000 is an important milestone for the business. Having two identical horizontal machining centres significantly enhances our capacity and capability for production batch work, allowing us to remain competitive while continuing to provide high levels of quality, delivery performance and service to our customers."
